
Myanmar Disaster Relief


On March 28, 2025, a devastating 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar, resulting in a significant loss of life and widespread destruction. The earthquake has resulted in at least 1,644 deaths in Myanmar, but the total number is still unknown. Over 3,400 individuals have sustained injuries and thousands have been displaced, requiring urgent humanitarian assistance.
How resources will be allocated
General Needs:

Dignity Kits: Each kit contains essentials such as clothing, hygiene items, personal care items, underwear, raincoats, flashlights, and more.

Portable power stations

Food packages: Each includes 4 psi of rice, 250 ml cooking oil, 7 packs of instant noodles, sardines, stove, and gas.

Medicine and Health Supplies:

Water purifying tablets to ensure access to clean drinking water

Medicine packages: Including Paracetamol, Ibuprofen, Amoxicillin, Ciprofloxacin, Metronidazole, and other critical medications, along with Oral Rehydration Salts (ORS), inhalers, and topical treatments.

PPE (Personal Protective Equipment): Includes essential protective gear such as helmets, gloves, high-visibility vests, boots, respirators, and safety harnesses to ensure the safety of our teams and the people we serve during the response.

Financial Resources
The financial support will directly contribute to purchasing and distributing these essential supplies. The ongoing earthquake response effort is crucial in meeting the immediate needs of those affected, and these resources will significantly enhance our ability to provide aid to vulnerable populations.
